1. How old were you when you first kissed a boy?
I was ... *drum roll* ... 15! I know, hard to believe, but understand that I was a chubby, tomboy, eyeglass wearing band geek that boys didn't show much interest in, even though I did have a 36C bust line by the time I was 13. You'd think the boobies would have gotten me a kiss, but I think the boys were scared!
2. Who would play you in the movie of your life story?
Hmmmm ... I think I would chose Jamie Lee Curtis. She's pretty darn real, and definitely HAWT!
3. What is the number one thing your love/hate about gay people?
This is a really strange question! I don't love/hate anything specific about gay people, but there are behaviors in ALL people that I love/hate. I don't know, but the last time I checked these behaviors were not specific to sexual orientation.
4. If you could legally get married to "the fella" - or any fella - would you?
Color me confused (is there a color for that? Maybe chartruse??)! I don't get this question, so I'll just answer one regarding marriage. If given the opportunity, I would definitely explore polyamory (no, not polygamy). Stop crinkling your nose at the computer, it will give you wrinkles. I've alway thought it unreasonable that one single person should be expected to meet all of my relationship needs. Polyamory just makes more sense to me - then I could have a "husband" and a "wife"!
5. Have you ever worn short short shorts in public?
At my age, unless you are Tina Turner, that's just sooo not OK, and when I was younger I was FAT, so no short shorts on this chick!
Bonus (as in optional): Who is your favorite blogger?
Anyone who has been reading me for a while knows that I have a well publicized blog crush. Remember this HNT shot? Matt-Man over at Bagwine Ruminations makes me weak in the knees on a daily basis, and it takes quite a man to make that happen. If you are a

My wife was a band nerd! Of course she didn't tell me until it was too late...
That pic makes me feel weak in the knees.
Buff, hey now! I resemble that remark!
Corky, I bet I know what else would make you weak in the knees *wink*
I love all of your answers...of course, and especially the answer to the bonus question.
I would tell you that since I make you weak in the knees that I would hold you up, but since the feeling is mutual, I guess I'll just fall on top of ya.
Not a bad thing actually. Mmmmm, Rowwrrrr, Thanks, and of course, Cheers, lovely one!!
Matt-Man, *blushes* and here I thought one had to profess to blog crushes only once. So much for that theory!
I can total see Jamie Lee Curtis portraying you. She is a sexy lady.
When I went to the TMI website this morning I thought.... "What stupid questions" LOL
Jamie Lee Curtis is hot, can we share her?
Karen, I've always thought she would be a decent fit - both physically (in my dreams) and intellectually. She's a smart ass too!
Leighann, I'm not sharing, besides she could never pull off Wonder Woman *wink*
LMAO @ Matt! A big ol' pile of crush!
You AND Jamie Lee?! Jamie Lee AS YOU? ROWR!
whats up with questions 3 and 4....what or who is a 'fella' is that slang for something? and what kinds of answers did others write about number 3?
RLL, do you suppose that is Orange Crush or Grape Crush?? Maybe Strawberry ...
I *heart* Jamie Lee!! I'm not one to be infatuated with "stars," but I'd like to have an opportunity to be infatuated with her!!
DB, the TMI Tuesday questions are often submitted by guests. This batch happened to be submitted by Jim at www.pamperedqueer.com I think they were questions that might be a little bit sexual orientation specific *wink*
I'm confused by the questions today. Still, Jamie Lee is a damn good choice.
I don't know why but it's hard to picture you as a chubby band geek.
One of my best friends IRL was a band geek. She's pretty cool though so w/e.
JLC is a great fit for you. I could see her playing Dana. :)
While a agree that JLC is really hot, there is also something about her that annoys me quite a bit.
I thought questions 2 & 3 were a bit "off." Good job coming up with good answers to those.
I got over my Matt-Man crush when he did the Elvis HNT thing. That was kind of disturbing. hahahaha ;-)
Actually it was question 3 & 4 that were "off."
/Writing a new comment is easier than editing.
//Besides, it runs up your comment numbers. ;-)
I totally dig JLC...totally....
Ummm I know you are wearing his shirt...but that is MY bottle of Gentleman Jack...his tastes are to sophomoric for a god-like liquor such as GJ.
Knight, me too!! But I'm thinking yours might be related to early onset senility from hitting that quarter century mark yesterday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY (again)!!
FF, one of these days I'll get a scanner and prove it!
Jay, JLC annoys you? Well, isn't that fitting? I annoy you too! So, who would you have play me??
You didn't like Matt-Man as Elvis? I bet he didn't talk bad about you when you wore your viking helmet!!
Bond, actually that isn't even Gentleman Jack - that's single barrel! I just couldn't manage to actually purchase Wild Irish Rose or bagwine ... even as a prop! I was trying to get him to come to the good side ...
Hey! It didn't post my comment!!!
Frickin Blogger.
Anyway...I could totally see Jamie Lee doing, err, playing you.
So what instrument did you play in band?
Oh, and this is my Country Bumpkin showing but what is polyamory?
15??
Geeez Dana, you might as well have waited until you graduated college!
;)
I often wonder how many people would be monogomous if it weren't for the social stigma of not doing it.
Apple, don't feel too bad about not knowing what polyamory is - I didn't either until recently, but have done quite a bit of research on it since. In a nutshell, it is a lifestyle that embraces "loving many." Sex is not the primary focus in polyamorous relationships, rather these relationships commonly consist of groups of more than two people seeking to build a long-term future together on mutually agreeable grounds, with sex as only one aspect of their relationship. There is a link attached to the word if you're curious :)
Oh, and I started playing clarinet when I was 8, then added tenor sax, flute and eventually through the euphonium in the mix!
Biscuit, one of the concepts I find most appealing to polyamory is that everyone knows what is going on - there are no secrets. These relationships are based on openness and trust.
Slick, to make up for my kissing delay, I had sex within 6 months. That should count for something!!
Odd questions... "the fella"?
I know I've found the one person who fulfills every desire I have... *sigh*
JLC! It's her Dad's b-day today... and all I could think about was he's her dad.. how cool for him! LOL!
She's hot hot hot!
It's always the quiet band nerds that act out later in life. :)
Happy TMI!
Those were interesting questions. Perhaps they were a bit too invasive. I enjoyed reading your answers, Dana.
Anndi, aparently there is language used within the gay community that is far different than what might be used in the heterosexual community. The things you can learn on the internet!
Ms. I, boy, I made sure to embrace that stereotype *wink*
Nick, they were somewhat invasive questions, weren't they?!
First kiss, 12. I almost got my ass kicked by his exgirlfriend the next day at school. He basically told her to chill the fuck out; it worked. His name was Jimmy and he was a catch :)
I always said it would be nice if I had a wife too ;)
I love Jamie Lee Curtis as an actress. She is talented and such a good looking woman. Enjoyed your responses. Happy tmi.
Jamie Lee Curtis is a great choice. She's awesome.
Happy TMI !
Dana - I had a difficult time with the questions as well and therefore did not.
Polyamory is a concept that would probably work much better than most would guess it would.
Lol. 15 isn't that old. One of my best friends didn't get his first real kiss until he was almost 18. Seriously. Even when he was younger, he was a cutie but he was painfully shy and a total nerd so he didn't even try until a few days before he graduated high school.
Jamie Lee Curtis is a fantastic choice.
Happy late TMI!
Lu, you little hussy you!
tt, I'm telling you, I think I'd do much better in a poly family - as odd as it might sound!
Macabre, thanks for stopping by!
Monique, being a bit older, my choices are limited *wink*
Kahuna, I really believe the only limit to polyamory's success is jealousy - it certainly isn't for everyone!
Amorous, whew!! 15 wasn't so bad ...
Jamie Lee would be PERFECT for you!
