HNT - Tan Lines

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

We've come to the end of this vacation, and once again I find myself in a place of apprehension. I've been offered a glimpse into what a "healthy" relationship looks like. I've felt freedom, relative peace and a sense that it's OK to just be me - scars, flaws, quirks and all. That being perfect should never be my goal. That life can be better. Yet one of my greatest fears is that I'll do nothing to insure this place will become a permanent part of my life. I wonder how long I'll believe that I deserve less, continuing to stand in the shadows.

We think similar thoughts it seems. (I love Osbasso's comment by the way. I'll remember that one.)

The click-thru is fantastic. I love every little detail.

oh, dana. . . i've always loved what those blinds do to you. and on a related note, how have i not noticed your nipples are pierced?

i feel the same as you: i put so much into place so that i can find happiness, but i haven't even begun the scaffolding on what to do when i get there, how to stay there and not fall back into the pit. *big hugs* just remember that beecher quote when you feel yourself slipping. . .

I second, or is it third, Osbasso's comment!

Happy HNT!

I hope you decide to do something rather than nothing. I hope your positive experiences will help push you in a better direction.

The click is lovely but I really like the main image this week.

Happy Thursday.

*here's a grain of salt. take it with same*
These things have (there own) a way of working themselves out.
We can only hope that it is not like a sliver that works its way in deeper and festers. That won't be good for any of you.
Meantime, ever thought about separate vacations?
Sounds like the beginning of the end (maybe), but it also sounds like you may already be "there" so what's one more step in that direction.
Search your soul, and if you can't remember why you married him, how you felt, and (more importantly) get back to that place (or HE can't) then...

Lovely HNT! Just one of your many talents, I'm sure.

That's right, "not really"...you got the shadow lines. Ties in nicely with what you wrote. Shadows are sometimes good...but we all need to step out into the light. You deserve more. HHNT

I can only say that I finally took action when I started believing that I deserved more out of life rather than believing that I didn't deserve any better than I had.....And not to say that my life magically became a fairy tale; it most certainly has not, but I have something now I didn't have before....HOPE!

Take care Dana....and loved being a privy to your vacation!

Very nice Dana! You are so freaking creative it just makes me sick.

Well, not sick, but jealous.

Safe trip, and I hope one day you will be used to a healthy relationship.

Excellent pictures both! the perspective and depth of field of the first one is cool, and the shadow lines contrasting the click are wicked cool. Well done Dana!!

Tan lines are awesome!

Be careful on the way home and and and you don't deserve less, everyone deserves to receive at least what they give life.

I won't lie, but after the click through I did think a few thoughts along the lines of my cock, and jizz.

TMI for your HNT!
