HNT Retro - Kindness

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Remember a few weeks back when I mentioned I felt it was time to do some more "traditional" HNT's - those that give you a glimpse of me without giving you the Full Monty? Well, I've decided the first HNT of the month will be that post.

"Let no one ever come to you without
leaving better and happier. Be the
living expression of God's kindness:
kindness in your face, kindness in
your eyes, kindness in your smile."

~ Mother Teresa

So tell me ...

Does kindness start in the eyes?

... or in the smile? *CLICK*

Gosh, I was totally expecting a naughty red riding hood this week..but this is really nice :)

Ha. Cute. Nice job, Dana. Cheers!!

Anonymous said...

Definitely in the eyes...you can fake a smile....

Ms. Inconspicuous said...

A mix of both, to be sure. :)

Though it starts in the eyes.

I love this HNT--it's very...warming. :D

Vixen said...

It's the mixture.... I agree. But your eyes, THEY really say it all.

Lovely. xxo

Evening said...

Put those eyes and that smile together and you see beauty and kindness. I love these pictures!!!
HHNT.

kindness starts in the heart...and shows through the eyes...

nice post Dana.

Jay said...

Very warm and sweet pic Dana! Love it! ;-)

Mariposa said...

...in the heart!

So, now let them fall off! LOL

Happy HNT sexy...

Osbasso said...

I like what Breve said about faking the smile. Can't do that with the eyes!

Adam Apple said...

I will take the eyes. I'm a sucker for pretty eyes...

Pronto said...

it's always in the eyes,

hhnt !

Naughty K said...

What beautiful eyes and such a killer smile.... Happy HNT!

Ashly Star said...

In the eyes. You can fake a smile or a kind expression. The eyes don't lie. Though, you have lovely eyes and a beautiful mouth. Happy HNT!

Anonymous said...

It depends on the viewer; both are great places to start...

HS said...

It's the eyes. I just love how you're bringing out the traditional.

Thanks for sharing! :)

An Artist Exposed said...

I love both but, for me, your eyes have it.

Lu' said...

I really like the eyes picture. The click through is nicely done but the eyes, wow.

captain corky said...

I'm going to print out both pics and make a Dana puzzle. ;)

Lapis Ruber said...

The eyes have it - every time. :-) Happy HNT.

Karen said...

I like the ones that aren't so sexual. I think these type take more thought and creativity. Nice job.

Richard said...

The eyes give out a lot of information.

Mike said...

Both, but the eyes don`t offten give a force look as where a smile can.
A very HHNT

Dangerous Lilly said...

Both are beautiful on you, but its in the eyes. Eyes can say kindness when you're not even smiling. Eyes can convey kindness when your face is one of concern, or sympathy.

Hubman said...

Both! And both of yours are very nice :-)

(Hey, I should save that comment for the next time you show your boobs!)

Happy HNT!

Dana said...

Snugs, ye have little faith! And thank you!

Matt-man, thank you!

Breve, and I've faked more than one smile!

Dana said...

Ms. I, warming is good?

Vixen, thank you!

Evening, I'm having some fun with the HNT throw back!

Dana said...

Kat, I enjoy doing this kind of HNT.

Jay, warm and sweet? Sounds like a cinnamon roll!

Mariposa, conveying a sense of feeling above the waist is what I'm hoping for!

Dana said...

Os, you can fake many things, but the eyes really do tell all!

Adam, I think I remember reading about your preference for eyes ...

Pronto, I will say that I think sometimes kindness can work it's way up to the eyes.

Deech said...

I love your eyes...they always speak volumes!

Dana said...

Naughty K, thank you!

Amorous, and my eyes never lie!

Kannon7, interesting thought!

Dana said...

Hetero-Sapphic, I really wish everyone would give the traditional a shot on occasion, but that's just my skewed view!

Artist, thank you!

Lu, the eyes are a bit dark - I always wanted green ones!

Dana said...

Corky, you do that with all of my HNT's, don't you?

Lapis, eye-eye!

Karen, they take FAR more thought and creativity. The best part? They are actually far more revealing!

Dana said...

Richard, I've never been a good lyer for that very reason!

Mike, I think there is something to be said for the combination of both!

Lilly, you are so right - the eyes offer a separate expression from the remainder of the face. They never betray.

Dana said...

Hubman, I'll start wondering if you think one of my boobs is less nice than the other *wink*

Flyinfox, thank you!

Anonymous said...

Its the eyes. Definitely, definitely the eyes. (thats not to say I don't like the lips as well)

A great job, as usual, Dana!

HHNT!

Unknown said...

WOW Dana! I really like htis one. I LOVE the red in the background, and the way you have it set up to see the rest on the click. Very, very nicely done!

M said...

You have a VERY kind and inviting face.

..and a personality to go with it :)

Great pic!

Anonymous said...

love the lips!!

I dunno where kindness starts though.

love the pics, always the sucker for eyes and lips!

Real Live Lesbian said...

Lovely pics! I gotta go with the smile. I can spot a fake one a mile away!

Jormengrund said...

As it has been said before me by folks MUCH more intelligent:

"The eyes are the windows to your soul"

Beacuse of this, I believe it is much more difficult to disguise what is in our hearts with our eyes than it is with a smile.

I'm one of those who LOVE eyes, so of course you know what my answer is!

Anonymous said...

In your eyes. :)

Biscuit said...

Both of yours are beautiful, but eyes can communicate so much.

Totally dig your glasses, by the way!

JW said...

I'm a great believer in that old saying about the eyes being the window to the soul :)

What I want to do when I get home is to try putting those two together to see if they're from the same pic. I'm sad like that ;)

And, yes, I approve of "something different".

Happy HNT!

Nolens Volens said...

Your eyes! Eyes! The click-thru makes for COMPELLING argument but I'll go with your eyes! LOL HHNT!

Psst...sorry about the "broken" link on my site...it's been fixed.

d2b said...

I'm with Mariposa and others, it starts in the heart.

Then the eyes are the most important...

Happy smiling HNT!

Anonymous said...

Both??!

g-man said...

I have to say the eyes do it for me..

Mother Teresa huh?

Fabsterrant said...

For me, generally speaking, its the lips to zero in on for a lingering kiss.

Anndi said...

It's in the eyes... there's a connection that can be made that is so very intense through the eyes. Just think of what it feels like when you are as intimate as you can be with someone all the while looking into each others eyes. *sigh*

Dana said...

Swingerwife, I think the "eyes" have it!

Bina, thank you!

M, awww ... shucks! *blushes*

Dana said...

SS, you had better figure out where kindness starts!

RLL, and to think that I have always tried to hide my smile!

Jormengrund, feeling a bit rambunctious today?

Dana said...

FF, I think you should join me in "Retro HNT" on the first of every month!

Biscuit, that is my "intellectual" look!

Ro, I think that "something different" is always a good thing. We don't want people getting too comfortable!

Dana said...

Nolens Volens, another one votes for the eyes!

d2b, I think without kindness in the heart, it cannot show up anywhere else!

Slick, aren't you supposed to be busy with your free-for-all?

Dana said...

g-man, a girl can have a dream, can't she??

Fabsterrant, it's the smile, not the lips *wink*

Anndi, look at you getting all sentimental!

Mind of MadMan said...

Starts in the heart and is shown throught that eys. But the eyes can deceive mainly because the heart lies. So kindness is shown by not shooting the asshole that you want too, even when they deserve it.

Average Chick said...

Such a beautiful set of eyes and smile! So classic!

I wonder what they look like in real life :)

Jeff B said...

Hey there. I'm slowly making my way around to visit everyone.

Hope your doing well

Annoymous said...

Next time try it without the glasses

Love this photo. You can see the smarts behind the eyes.
