HNT - Morning

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Morning ...

It's my favorite part of the day. I begin mine earlier than most - usually sometime around 4:30. No, not because I have anything pressing to do at that hour, but because I enjoy the peace and serenity that early morning offers me. Everyone is asleep. My home - my town - my mind - all are placid and still, allowing me to begin my day ...
placid and still.

It's just not morning without a gentle stretch *CLICK*

Oh, Dana! You've really outdone yourself this week. The click is gorgeous. I love, love, love the shadow play.

When I was married to my ex, I would wake up at 4ish bc it was the only time I could get time to myself. Any other time involved kiddos or an angry husband who wanted to fight. I *loved* my mornings.....

That second pic is really stunning. Excellently done, breathtaking really.

OH MY GOSH! Okay I love the main picture because it's gorgeous and I love the click because it's soft and sexy as hell.

The thing I love about working late night is by the time I get home and by the time I wind down from work, everyone else is asleep.I get that little time all alone, while the rest of house is sleeping. Most of the town is sleeping and it's just so quiet and tranquil, I love it. Ironically it's about 4:30 AM by the time I get there so, I know what you mean. Except you're waking up and I'm only just sleeping after work. I get it though. =) Happy HNT!

I wish I could find that stillness in the morning but I just can't. I would rather watch the moon in the middle of the sky in the silence of the night. A gentle stretch indeed...Happy HNT!

There's a LOT to love about both pics but I really like seeing your ink so delicately lit and the beautiful interplay of shadow and light

I love the early morning---I'm not seeing it much lately because I'm sleeping very well. It's a damn good trade.

I enjoy the quiet morning only after my first sip of coffee. :)

Nicely done on the click, the light and shadow is spectacular.

That is a serenely beautiful photo. I agree, I love the morning stretch....even if I -do- take hours to wake up and my stretching spans a couple of hours.

HHNT!!

You know, you really should see about getting into some kind of art gallery, and trying to sell some of these..

There are collectors out there looking for the eye and talent you've got Dana.

The use of light and shade, the soft and warm tones, the contrasts.. It all works amazingly well!

This is my favorite from you so far this year, and we've just begun! I can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds..

First time visiting your blog; peace and serenity is great but 4:30 am...wow, way to early for me. I guess you have to take it when you can get it.
