Sunday Secret

Whenever I am alone, but in a group of people - on the train, grocery shopping, etc. - I spend my time making up stories about the people I see. One is a spy for the CIA and is living a false life. Another is cheating on her husband while he thinks she is at her son's soccer game. I wonder how many times I'm right?

Probably more than you know. When I'm in those same places, I tend to make up stories too, but it seems all my stories involve only the females and me. There are no other men in my imagination. :-D

Geesh, I do exactly the same thing! Seriously. Or, if I hear them talking about something stupid or whatever they're talking about is rude...I imagine walking up to them and setting the record straight. How passive/aggressive is that??!! ha

I'd say probably right regular.
I always wonder what they are like in bed.

I always wonder where people are going and where they have been.

And, I kind of wonder what type of underwear they are sporting. Yep, both men and women.

Trée, those are fantasies, not stories *wink*

tt, I'm wondering what stories you might make up about me!

Sage, perv! *giggle*

Easy Dana, don't blow my cover.
My parents still think I'm a piano player in a whore house.

Now you know this is one of my favorite past times. It's always fun when playing that game to ask yourself as well, "Who do you want to be today?" After all, if you're going to give them interesting histories, you might as well have one yerself!

I love to people watch. I had the best time in the airport when I went to see Tali. LOL

There were all kinds of stories there and I was like you, creating background stories for each one. ;)

I love playing that game, too. You might not be right, but does it matter? :)

I heard something wise once, in the form of a rebuttal. I said "That person is so phony- why don't they just get real".. The person I was with said "Oh they're real enough- everyone is.. They just don't choose to be real with you"..

So funny, because I tend to do the opposite. I assume everyone is perfect and that they would be horrified to find out who I really am.

I make up all kinds of stories about you. ;-)

Ahh...right after I post my musings tonight, I look through people's blogspots and you beat me to the punch on observations. LOL

I make up stories about people who have learned their way around the internet....savy in their own 'little' way...sometimes I feel like I have been 'found' out....as they hide their IP or whatever identifying tag...yet they somehow leave tracks that tie it all together....those are my little secrets....I love secrets

Creative way of spending time. If you possess the skills of a Sherlock Holmes, you should be right 99.99% of the time.

a very interesting way of passing the time.

In those situations, I just imagine that the hot chicks around me want to have sex with me. Cheers!!

Garbonzo, now I'm going to have to add underwear to the equation!

Al, that's why I was so generic in my "stories" - I knew that I had to protect you.

Boo, hmmmm ... I may have to give myself an interesting story next time!

FF, airports are the best for this type of activity!

Ms. I, no, playing the game and finding the right storry is far more important than being correct!

Buff, ohhhh - that is wise!

Dana said...

Biscuit, awwww - I know that I would NEVER be horrified by you!

Jay, stories about me?? I cannot even begin to imagine *wink*

Nolens, thanks for stopping by! I'll have to go take a look at your interpretation of this.

DB, and sometimes people leave breadcrumbs in hopes that someone does find where they've been.

Nick, no Sherlock Holmes here - more like fiction than fact I'm afraid!

Richard, it keeps my imagination vivid!

Matt-Man, and I have no doubt they all do!

I'd have to agree with my fellow bloggers. You're probably right more than you think you know. It's interesting to try to guess what their lives are about or if they have problems that are worse than yours (mine). That's what I do sometimes when I play the guessing game.

HA! I do the same thing. :)

I do this too, lol. =D
