Way back when - June 30th to be exact, Bond (a.k.a. Vinny) held a contest for all of us sitting on the Big Leather Couch for a chance to win a copy of John Mayer's WHERE THE LIGHT IS. The rules were pretty simple: "Tell me in your comments why you should be the one to receive this and tomorrow, I will announce the winner...as always creativity counts!"Creativity? Well, I've got that! And I can certainly type a comment! I even had a cheering section (thank you Micky-T and The Teach). How could I lose? Well, I didn't - I ... ummmm ... I mean ... Cam won!!
Now, Vinny was quite prompt with the shipment of my prize, and it sat on my desk for WEEKS! You see, I had promised a vlog of Cam opening the prize, but was having a little difficulty with the logistics of said vlog. As you may recall, husband has no idea I blog - nor does Cam - so I needed some time with just Cam and I had to come up with some excuse why I was videoing him. Ha! Remember that creativity? Well, last night I had a few minutes and look what I got!

FMD, he is a "typical" 12, isn't he? And no, I didn't have to ask him to do the download for me. Once I turned the camera off his excitement really showed and he ran down to the basement to take care of it!
Corky, we've got some football challenges here. He's like to play, but at 12 (5'-9" and 220lbs) is "too big" to play Pop Warner in his age group. He'll have to wait until he's in High School to play!

He looked so thrilled to be in that video! I am such a mom I think because the whole time he's sitting in that chair I just wanted to scream SIT UP STRAIGHT! ;)

I loved when Cam said "... well the fans like it" in response to all the screaming. Such a teen boy thing to say. I too can read eye rolling and exaggerated tolerance.
As beautiful and artistic as your HNTs are I think you're sexier just sitting on the floor talking about Cam.

Yes, Dana darlin', thousands! I’m averaging well over 125 visitors a day on Nick's Bytes and you receive 3-4 times the comments that my blog receives.
If you do the math, I have 1000 visitors about every 8 days.
And, if those visitors are like I am, they read all of the blog posts they missed since their last visit.

That's great. My step daughter will be 12 next month, and we don't video much, but she never wants to sit still for a picture. Then later when I download pics to the computer-there are a dozen "self portraits", mostly up her nose. KIDS!!! Gotta love em.
