Sunday Secret

We've been emailing daily for over three months, have had coffee together twice and will be going for a walk in the forest preserve today. He writes with passion, humor and intellect and his gaze gives me goose bumps. I don't know where this will go, but I fantasize - likely too often - about where I hope it will go.

I'm not one to pry, so "No comment"...

R.E.H., it's a little bit of peace and sanity in my life, and I do enjoy that.

Buff, I'm guessing there will be more judgments that comments on this secret.

Micky-T, it's been so long since I've gotten spontaneous goose bumps from something other than a cool breeze that I can't help but keep an eye on them!

Mt. Cat, a man after my own heart! I knew there was a reason I liked you!

Matt-Man, the invitation remains open!

Jay, it was a beautiful walk on a beautiful spring day with fabulous company. I couldn't ask for more!

Richard, in all honesty, it's quite enjoyable now!

DB, I know ... I know ... and I wouldn't change a thing about it!

Dianne, at this point I really am enjoying the moment ... and wishing for a pause button to hold on to the moment longer.

SS, one of the more amazing things is that there are no secrets!

As the song says, “que sera sera.” May whatever is be good.

I think that is the happiest and my most favorite sunday secret so far...

I'm proud of you for finally thinking of yourself. Do him! ;) I'm such a 'ho!

Nick, interesting perspective on this one.

Corky, no coffee this time - just a stroll on the walking paths and some stolen time on a park bench - much better than coffee!

Matty, again, I'm surprised at this comment. It's by far my favorite Sunday Secret, but I didn't expect this response from people.

RLL, YOU are a bad influence *wink*

Hmm, from reading your comments, it's not Matt Man, so I'm interested in hearing how it goes!

Dana said...

Bina, you really thought it might be Matt-Man?? Although I'd love to have a cup of Joe with him, I'd want Schmoop to come along!

Dang, my Sister has found "new" love after a bastard of a husband. My Brother's found it too after being single for awhile. I told her I want "new" love but guess I'll settle for a soul mate:)

Knight said...

Ooh! This sounds exciting. Anyone your readers would know about? should know about? could know more about in the near future? Is the forest preserve a secluded place?

Knight said...

oh wait... you are married... uh... have fun?

Dana said...

Lu, I've never been a big fan of "soul mates." I prefer the excitement of lust!

Knight, actually, he is not anyone any of my readers would be aware of, and for confidentiality sake (I am nothing if not discreet, in a round about way) he never will be. The forest preserve has some secluded places, although we stayed on the main trail.

I've been down a similar path... not in the forest.. but...
