Blame it on Birdman

He was tired of opening my blog and getting nothing but tits. What do you get instead? Politics!

Seems I just can't stay away from the topic these days. I try … I really try … but the political process is just so corrupt and phony fascinating that I can't seem to stop talking about it.

As many of you know if you watch any news, we have some REBATES on the table. Just in case anyone is at all confused, dictionary.com defines REBATE as:

a return of part of the original payment for some service or merchandise; partial refund.

And just in case you haven't been following the news closely, the stimulus package currently gives REBATES to people who paid no taxes. I don't know about all of you, but I call that a HANDOUT, not a rebate.

However, this may be a mute point. Why? Well, what started out as a $161 BILLION package in the House has morphed in to a $205 BILLION package in the Senate. It seems the Democrats have decided this stimulus package should could bring them a political advantage - that Republicans will pay a very high price if they oppose the added REBATES for older Americans and disabled veterans, as well as heating aid for the poor, up to an additional 26 weeks of unemployment benefits and a much larger collection of business tax breaks than the House approved. In this election year, it's all about making the other guy look bad.

This is how our government works. One side makes a proposal that they have "promised" - one that the media has hyped up and the "people" assume is the truth. Then the other side loads it with special interest extras, knowing it's likely it will pass through because there is that promise out there that needs to be kept at any cost. But then again, what's $44 BILLION amongst friends?

One last thing ... any complaints about my flashing moving down the page should be sent directly to Birdman - you can find him HERE .

I just wish congress would spend more time going after baseball players for steroids, and football teams for illegal spying tapes. That way at least I'll know my tax money is being spent wisely.

Economies of countries are based on buying and selling stuff. The reasoning behind this is; give everybody some money- and they'll buy more crap- stimulating the economy! Doesn't matter if they earned it or not... And I , for one- would rather see boobies than vote for one!

Wow this is awful. Before you know it, the stimulus package will catch up with what we are spending on the Iraqi people. Outrageous!! : )~~

Cheers Dana!!

Corky, I'm with you! Let's address the really important things!

Buff, I'll remember that the next time I think about posting something on politics.

Matt-Man, we've got to spend that money on someone, don't we? I mean, it's not like we'd want a balanced budget.

Tits are much cheaper! And wouldn't we all be much happier with titties everywhere?

Damn Birdman.

Tits are better than rebates.

Every single thing that comes in front of congress gets added onto for political reasons. The Republicans will get their payback this summer when they start tacking "let's make the tax cuts permanent" onto every bill that comes through. It's how things work anymore.

I'm hoping they kill the whole thing. The entire idea is pretty damn socialist. The rebates are ONLY for the people making less than $75,000 a year? Talk about redistribution of wealth.

And this was all Bush's plan to begin with. Here in his last year he's turned into a guilty white liberal. WTF? ;-)

Politics are a friggin scam.

(That's all I've got. Isn't it amazing, Dana, that, after seeing a winning pair, I'm here to comment two days in a row?! Funny how that works out, sometimes.)

;-)

RLL, and I give pics of my tits for FREE! Maybe I should try to balance the Federal budget instead!

Jay, I'm with you on this one. Not sure who told George W. how to be a conservative, but he clearly wasn't listening.

Adamity, I guess I'm going to have to post pics a little more frequently if I want you to keep visiting.

I like ur tits and you politics.
Wanna be my VP?
They would try to impeach us because I'd veto most everything and tell several of them how fucking stupid and corrupt they are.

But for real isn't that just insane? I mean how is making one car payment or 1/2 a house payment going to help anyone? Isn't that trying to put a band-aid on a frigging severed vein?

I might start voting against every incumbant just to change out the idiots.
good post
good tits too

The rebates are a way for the poli"tit"ions to say they have ou breast interest at heart. I say they should bust open the coffers and let the money flow. Why not let underprivilaged milk our system a bit more?

Without a little support these people would be in udder chaos. Considering how nipply it's been outside lately this money could come in handy for heating costs.

Speaking of warm milk, maybe instead of rebates they could just send everyone a Hooters gift card. Do they serve milk? Well if not I'm sure they have a nice rack of ribs to offer.

I don't follow political debate enough to comment on the rebate issue...

...but that sounds whack!

Anyway... I'll take tits over politics any day!

SS, would you still want me as your VP if I didn't flash you??

Jeff, I think it's great that thousands of Wii's will be purchased over the next few months because in June, when rent is due again, they'll be available in every pawn shop for half the cost!

PP, I think he was being sarcastic but I just had to poke a little ... ummm ... fun at him!

R.E.H., if you'd get your butt back here to the states you might be following it a little closer!

Jeff B said...

Dana, you're not suggesting that these people will squander this windfall on trivial things like video games do you?

Bwahahahaha

(mental note...check pawn shops this summer...good deals ahead)

Jeff, I'm sure they'll all be paying off credit card debt and their heating bills, but just in case I'll be doing my Christmas shopping in June!
